HOW YOU GOT INTO BASKETBALL: Journey started when I was still young, in P.4. I attended Junior NBA and took part in the Skills Challenges through Watoto, with the help of my Coach Tonny Weraga.

“It’s been fun so far. I played U16 in 2023 and now here I am representing my country at U18 level. Basketball has exposed me to different people, I have got connections and free education.”

Born in a family of eight, Alaba is the fifth in her family to play basketball.
