Jamila Namanda Hanifa
Meet Jamila Namanda Hanifa, a bright and ambitious 15-year-old girl born on October 3, 2008. She is the third of four daughters in a family facing financial difficulties, living in the Mpererwe slum in Kampala. Tragically, her father abandoned the family 12 years ago, leaving her mother, Naggudi Prossy, 35, to single-handedly care for their children. Despite her tireless efforts doing door-to-door laundry, the family struggles to make ends meet. Her mother’s hard work is further complicated by the fact that her eldest daughter is pregnant and has had to drop out of school. Determined to avoid a similar fate, Jamila’s family is seeking assistance to keep her in school. Your donation can help ensure Jamila receives the education she deserves, breaking the cycle of poverty and unlocking her full potential. Please consider supporting Jamila’s tuition fees and helping her build a brighter future.
